Toward Energy-Efficient Artificial Intelligence
Monday, October 12, 2020 | 13:30 - 17:30
Theme
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is foreseen as the next societal transformation, inspiring hope and enthusiasm in academics, industrials, and people in many professional fields. But as AI applications and solutions start spreading around the world, its power consumption will become a challenge. Hardware-level innovation will create new opportunities and value-add for researchers and companies that address the need for energy efficiency in AI. This workshop will present the outlook and understanding of AI experts and visionaries on this topic and provide some concrete hardware results that could help dramatically reduce AI's power consumption.
