Abstract:Personalised healthcare provides a significant shift from the established one-size-fits-all approach towards tailoring healthcare to patients' individual needs. This opens opportunities to predict, identify and use the treatment that will work best for the individual patient. In future the ideal outcome would be for all patients to receive the right treatment at the right dose at the right time – every time. Serge Bernasconi will speak about the important role of medical technologies in the development of personalised healthcare and will present the challenges, opportunities and key trends that will impact how we look at healthcare in the near future.
