​Special Guest: Cedric Villani

Special guest of Leti Innovation Days 2019, Mr. Cédric Villani, Mathematician, Fields Medal 2010, Member of the Academy of Sciences, First Vice-President of OPECST and Deputy of Essonne, Scientific and Technical Adviser for the French Government on Artificial Intelligence, will give a special Keynote on Thursday, June 27 at 16:00 as part of Leti Innovation Days closing.

His keynote, entitled "For meaningful Artificial Intelligence", will focus on the current revolution provoked by Artificial Intelligence. «Artificial Intelligence often sounds like a promise for the future, but we must not fool ourselves: this revolution is happening here and now. This radical transformation is both an unprecedented opportunity and an immense

responsibility. We have to fully seize the opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence now, while designing the framework to regulate it.»
At the end of the speech, Mr. Villani and Emmanuel Sabonnadière will answer questions asked by the public via the text platform.

About Cédric Villani:

Cédric Villani is a French mathematician and politician working primarily on partial differential equations, Riemannian geometry and mathematical physics. He was awarded the Fields Medal in 2010 and he was the director of Sorbonne University's Institut Henri Poincaré from 2009 to 2017.
